Collage Cards

Good morning and welcome back to the LDRS inspiration blog.  Today I'm playing with some of the Collage stamp sets and they are divine!!  I love the creativity these stamps sets allow.  I've made three cards and we'll start with the Valentine card using the With Affection Collage Stamp Set.
I start by stamping the Ledger Lines on several pieces of A2 sized card stock.  It gives me a chance to play with arrangements and colors!  I used the Ledger II stamp set for these cards, however, the Ledger stamp set is also available for variation.  All of these stamp sets would be beautiful for scrapbooking or for journaling/planners.
Next, you get to play.  Pick your favorite stamps and start arranging.  There are no rules and I just love seeing it come together.  For this first card, I used 5 LDRS Hybrid Ink colors.  The Ledger is stamped in Raven, then I used Lipstick Jungle, Boysenberry Blast, Scarlet Rose, and Grape Ape for the stamped images.  As you can see, these inks stamp so clean and are a joy to work with.  LDRS also has re-inkers available for purchase.
Time to assemble the first card.  I used the lovely pink plaid paper from the Favorite Things 6x6 paper pack.  This is also available in a 12x12 pack if you're a scrapbooker!  I cut the A2 card panel with the Delicate Stitches Scalloped Rectangle dies and mounted it on an A2 white card base with foam tape.
I finished it off with a sprinkling of sequins for a little shine.  Don't be afraid to overlap and be adventurous as you're creating a work of art!!
The next card features the Family Collage stamp set and would be a lovely card for someone with a new home or who has been away for a time.  The images on this stamp set are adorable and I love the little stick cat and dog!!  I again stamped the Ledger II stamp in Raven ink, then used Evergreen, Dark Wash Jeans, and Scarlet Rose for the images.  I cut the card panel down using the A2 Diagonal Stitched Layered Card Toppers die set.
The card panel for this card is ink blended using a layering stencil from LDRS.  The current Dot to Dot stencil  could create a similar look.  The card panels are layered on an A2 white card base with the top panel adhered with foam tape.
I again finished it off with some shiny embellishments and just love the final look.
This last one is a friend movie/game night invitation using the same Family Collage stamp set.  It's very versatile!  I stamped the same Ledger on a tag I had in my stash.  The images are stamped in the same color scheme as the last card and I adorned the tag with a little bakers twine and adhered to the A2 base using foam tape.  The base card panel is ink blended with the same ink colors and is on Kraft card stock.  These inks blend beautifully and really pop on the Kraft card stock.  I love the look of this base layer!
I hope you've enjoyed my playtime with the Collage stamp sets.  There are also several more variations of the Collage stamps sets available with almost every holiday in mind.  I will definitely be playing a LOT more with these!!  I love the look of them and they will make an appearance in my 2024 planners as well!
Happy crafting!  LeeAnn
